Decarbonizing the Energy Sector: The Role of ADB’s Energy Transition Mechanism and Partnerships

The 3-hour event will share ADB's experience in developing the Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) program since its inception in November 2021 and discuss the challenges and opportunities for energy transition in developing member countries (DMCs) in Asia and the Pacific.

ADB staff, development partners, and DMC representatives will explain the challenges they have faced, the solutions they have applied, and the lessons they have learned. The event will be divided into 2 sessions, each with an interactive Q&A portion with the panelists and the audience.
